The UVM Medical Center pharmacy located in Williston, Vermont expanded their space into a single 10,347 square foot suite to create better workflow and more space for their daily operations.
Providing the mechanical work for this expansion, we demoed existing ductwork, equipment, and gas piping to install replacements. The installation consisted of new equipment such as a ground mounted RTU unit with ductwork, ductless splits, an air compressor, boiler, and pumps. We also installed bathrooms with showers, a freezer, cooler, a kitchen space, and gas piping. The gas piping will be used for a new generator put into place that will serve as backup power, as some of the pharmaceuticals housed at this location require 24/7 refrigeration.
