The University of Vermont signed a 10-year lease for 4,897 square feet at 30 Community Drive in South Burlington to house a data center. ReArch Company engaged the services and expertise of New England Air Systems to install the plumbing and mechanical services for UVM’s remote data center, located at Community Drive in Technology Park, South Burlington.
The data center cooling is provided by traditional IT Room Cooling Units. Equipment included two 30-ton Liebert units for the data rooms, and two 40-ton units for the electrical room, as well as a 2-ton fan coil unit, plate & frame heat exchangers, a complete glycol system, generator fuel transfer system, and assorted pumps. Climate control and monitoring was provided by Temperature Controls of Vermont, as subcontractor to New England Air Systems.
