New England Air Systems participated in the underground steam line replacement project for the 370 bed Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield, VT under subcontract to Wiley Earth Moving for Phase I and J P Sicard for Phase II. The scope of our work encompassed the installation of large field welded steam and condensate piping between 14 concrete manholes, installation of condensate pumps and large butterfly valves and ball joints in the Manholes, and tie-ins to the various buildings throughout the complex.
