Our client, a prominent cannabis distributor, needed a specialized facility designed for growing cannabis. The project involved constructing a state-of-the-art cannabis grow facility that required precise environmental controls to ensure optimal growing conditions.
We provided HVAC and plumbing systems for the facility, including the installation of Captive Aire Paragon HVAC systems to manage the specific temperature and humidity levels necessary for the grow operation. One of the challenges we faced was the tight spacing for ductwork, which required careful planning and installation. Additionally, we had to navigate long lead times for electrical components, ensuring the project stayed on track despite these delays.
This design-build project also required a separate gray water septic system to keep the facility’s wastewater isolated from municipal services. The size of the facility and the complexity of the systems required a coordinated effort, involving a dedicated crew to manage the intricacies of this specialized build.
