New England Air Systems has been privileged to play a significant role in the construction of the new OnLogic building in Williston, Vermont. For those not familiar, OnLogic is an industry leader in development and production of fanless computers which are so robust they can operate in many harsh environments. Their clients include many fortune 500 companies such as Amazon and the NASA Rover project on Mars, with sales over 110 million dollars in 2021 and annual growth around 30%.
Nearing completion, the scope of our work has been very extensive. We’ve installed (4) 700,000 BTU geothermal heat pumps, served by two 600 GPM geothermal production wells, and three rejection wells that heat and cool the building, provide domestic hot water, and sidewalk snowmelt. The system delivery is state of the art Grundfos integrated pump skids to 135 load match fan coils.
The heat recovery for the entire building is served by (5) 24,000 CFM Petra rooftop units and the warehouse is temperature controlled by a 30’ tall 24,000 CFM air turnover unit. The plumbing consists of piping to 103 fixtures and 16 water heaters.
This project has required coordination drawings organizing all trades in very congested ceilings. Our engineer Chad Hill, spent many hours meeting with other trades and drawing with the 3D Revit model and Navisworks animations that allows you to view the building and tour all systems in 3D. His drawings have greatly captured all the details in the work we’ve done.
