Burton’s flagship store and offices have the look and feel of an innovative player in the hard & soft goods apparel industry. With exposed mechanical systems, tall ceilings, and open floor plans, we needed to design and build a mechanical system that not only provides comfort, but aesthetically fits the persona of the space.
For this project, we were able to utilize the latest in refrigerant technology by incorporating a Mitsubishi VRV system that both heats and cools the building. This new heat pump technology is not only energy efficient; it provides small zones for occupant comfort.
In all, Burton has been extremely happy with the look and feel that this system has provided, and is exploring further opportunities with New England Air Systems to upgrade their mechanical systems.
