A lively, state-of-the-art grocery store located in Burlington’s historic and artistic South End.
When City Market’s original plan and spec. design came in over budget, they turned to the design-build team at New England Air Systems to come up with a cost-effective solution to heat, cool, and refrigerate the building.
The result was an AGC award-winning design, featuring an innovative and environmentally-friendly CO2-based refrigerant system. We utilized a mix of energy efficient AHU’s, unit heaters, and perimeter radiant to provide the ventilation and comfort needed to satisfy 3,000 daily customers.
The project came in on budget and on schedule. The success of our efforts is reflected in our ongoing relationship with City Market.
