New England Air Systems was contracted by ReArch Company to provide mechanical services for the water-cooled IT racks at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters’ data center on 30 Community Drive in Technology Park, South Burlington.
Instead of going for traditional space cooling, Liebert Engineering opted for water-cooled data center racks utilizing Carrier brand closed-circuit fluid coolers, water chillers, and condensers. In addition to these, we installed an energy recovery unit, two 200-ton capacity heat exchangers, a glycol system, and a Genesis refrigeration monitoring system.
