Our client, OnLogic, is a global manufacturer of industrial-grade computer hardware designed to operate in the most challenging environments. The project involved constructing their new 140,000 square-foot global headquarters, which serves both as a manufacturing facility and corporate office. This ambitious project required a range of services, including plumbing, HVAC piping, sheet metal field installation, shop fabrication, and project management. We also provided value engineering during the early stages to bring the project within budget.
The project was completed over 18 months, adhering to an aggressive schedule. Thanks to our team’s availability for piping and ductwork installation, we stayed on or ahead of schedule throughout the build. We utilized AutoCAD Revit 3D coordination for piping, ductwork, and equipment to ensure seamless integration with other trades. Our in-house shop fabrication, state-of-the-art equipment, and strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors were critical resources that contributed to the project’s success.
One standout feature of the facility is its geothermal HVAC system, which helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 1,575,000 pounds of CO2 each year. Combined with roof-mounted solar PVs, the building is both energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. OnLogic also benefited from the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, which provided tax incentives and rapid depreciation for the geothermal system. This project highlights our ability to deliver large-scale, sustainable solutions on time and within budget.
