Healthy Air for a Better Building.

At New England Air Systems, we provide commercial, industrial, and institutional indoor air quality services. Since we spend so much time inside, the air quality in our indoor environments is critical to everyone’s wellbeing.

What is Indoor Air Quality?

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) is a group of services that include installing, maintaining, and cleaning systems that control particulates and contaminants inside commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, manufacturing facilities and more.

Whether building or renovating, our main objective is to improve ventilation and air filtration. We help to preserve your HVAC system and keep your building’s air clean and healthy. We do this by designing, installing, and servicing state-of-the-art ventilation and air filtration systems, as well as upgrading existing ones.

Our knowledge and expertise in IAQ extend to specialty industries including food manufacturing. We know flour and other particulates can circulate throughout a building and may cause harm to those who breathe them in. We have the experience and certifications to design, install, and clean a ventilation system that can properly filter these particles before they affect human health and safety.

IAQ Services & Capabilities

Aligned with ASHRAE standards, we specialize in the cleaning and maintenance of HVAC systems, including dust collection systems, exhaust systems, Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs), filters, and more.

Superior Cleaning & Dust Collection

Our cleaning procedures are state-of-the-art and employ cutting-edge technology. We use hydraulic brushes to efficiently navigate ductwork and sweep dirt and debris towards our Hypervac systems that place ducts under negative pressure with HEPA filtration, ensuring that all dirt and contaminants are safely captured. We can also provide comprehensive video documentation showing the meticulous process of removing dust and dirt from your environment.

Mobile Cleaning

Equipped with a comprehensive suite of tools and technologies, our mobile units are outfitted with all of the latest gear and cleaning equipment, enabling us to respond to emergency situations and limit downtime for our customers.

Mold & Allergen Detection

In addition to cleaning and maintenance, we conduct thorough inspections, using air and swab sampling for antimicrobial assessment, mold detection, and allergen identification. Our restoration and upgrading services aim to bring systems up to code and ensure they operate optimally.

Service & Maintenance

Our array of services is not just limited to HVAC systems. We also meticulously clean and maintain equipment crucial for healthy air circulation, including dry ice machines, kitchen hoods, coffee roasters, and HVAC roof systems. Our specialized cleaning processes eliminate oil residues, clear ducts, and handle air handling unit maintenance, ensuring optimal functionality. We also service heat exchangers, with a proven track record of improving efficiency by 60-70%.

The following recommended HVAC cleaning schedule ensures optimal performance and air quality:

I enthusiastically recommend NEAS for your Industrial, Institutional or Commercial Mechanical System needs.  I have worked with the folks at New England Air since 1989 on both bid – spec. projects and as team partners on specialized projects.  Their friendly attitude, expert knowledge and trustworthiness are welcome attributes.  They make the difficult projects appear easy.

Thomas P. Reilly, PE, VT Licensed Mechanical and Electrical Engineer

We have had a long relationship with New England Air on numerous projects from healthcare facilities to distilleries. The value that NEA adds to our projects, from knowledge and capability to creative solutions and problem solving has always been an asset. Neagley & Chase highly recommends New England Air. They will be a valuable addition to any project team.

Andrew Martin, Chief Executive Officer, Neagley & Chase Construction

If you care about your tenants’ comfort and retention, you will use New England Air.

John Wilking, Principal, Neville Investments

I am extremely happy with Chris and the work of your Service Team. He was thorough and explained everything to me. He also noticed that one side of our system seemed to be cooling better than the other, and he explored and diagnosed the problem. Before,  I felt like we were just throwing bandaids at our problems and now, I feel that our aging system is running as efficiently as possible.

Corey Duteau, Pharmacy Manager, Freedom Pharmacy

I have been doing business with New England Air Systems for the last 15 years, and my experience with them has been nothing short of amazing. They are a truly dedicated company that strives to meet the end user’s goal, often resolving problems due to incorrect design flaws. From the owner down to the employees in the field, everyone at NEAS is a true professional and dedicated to performance. I will continue to use NEAS over any mechanical contractor in New England, hands down.

Lawrence Dapo, President, Jackson Ryan Construction Services, Inc.

When refrigeration is a big part of your business, you want to be able to sleep at night! Thanks to NE Air’s winning combination of high-level workmanship, communication, and professionalism that goes the extra mile (and the fact that they have truly become our partners), we feel secure knowing all our complex refrigeration systems are taken care of by a company that prides itself on excellence. From Heather all the way to the techs in the field, everyone we come in contact with is kind, respectful, caring, and professional.

Katy, Nina, and Eli from Healthy Living Market

I want to thank you and your team for a great last year. Your technicians are great, responsive, friendly, and professional. They explain this down to our level when we need to know what went wrong and your schedule team gets us in quickly when it is important or critical. Thank you – we look forward to another year working with you and appreciate your hard work and having such great staff.

Rick P. Garey, Support Services Director, Essex Police Department

The HVAC service we have received from New England Air Systems is some of the best Vermont has to offer. The professionals at NE Air responded to a “no heat call” that we placed on a Saturday over Martin Luther King weekend, for a property they didn’t even service. They spent the next 24 hours sourcing parts, opening supply houses on a Sunday, and fixing the issues. Their dedicated team of technicians turned a potentially catastrophic situation into a minor inconvenience.

Geoffrey Grab, President, Neville Companies

New England Air did a great job at one of our properties. As we approached the cooling season, our aged rooftop chiller needed a full replacement. They were able to handle all aspects quickly and professionally, from locating a match, to coordinating all facets of the job until completion. Teamwork was very evident at every step – from the work performed out of the office to the techs in the field.

John Gavin, Property Manager, Pizzagalli Properties

We began working with NE Air Systems in the Fall of 2017. Since that time, we’ve developed a great partnership and their dedication to exceptional maintenance and repair service is what keeps us a customer.  We appreciate the quality of service they provide and their prompt response with emergency issues. Their expertise and experience in new project design and installation allows us to keep all projects running smoothly and on time.

Sherry L. Doane, VP Operations, Northfield Savings Bank

As a client of NEAS for over 20 years, the services provided to Gifford Heath Care remain dependable. Many projects begin with a brief scope description to the NEAS team.  The resources at NEAS work with our teams to map out several solutions to the need.  Their creativity, industry expertise, and real time understanding of installation processes allow for streamlined design details.  The NEAS teams are resourceful, professional and offer seamless collaboration between trades.  This allows for organization, coordination, and time saving efficiencies within the design development services. These same collaborations occur as installation phases carry forward.  Project services continue until operations are satisfied by the Gifford team.  We remain pleased with New England Air Systems and look forward to the next partnership.

Doug Pfohl, Vice President, Support Services, Gifford Health Care

We have joined forces with New England Air Systems for many years to achieve successful design building projects and bid/lump sum projects from a few thousand dollars to millions. Most of this work has been complex and difficult. They are more than simply a mechanical/plumbing contractor on whom we rely, but a partner in the projects we undertake. We highly recommend New England Air Systems!
